IMPACT DAY 2008

Deloitte India will be celebrating IMPACT DAY 2008 on June 6, 2008.

IMPACT DAY is the annual festival of our year-round commitment and giving it back to society by the way of volunteerism, pro bono activities, donations, and participation in building stronger community.
This year, more than 150 professionals from Deloitte India will be volunteering in Street-to-Smart thread, aimed towards supporting street children. Our efforts will be directed towards helping street children get into safe hands by connecting them to NGOs for better lives and spending quality time with them. We will be visiting three different child homes ( and will use their talent to address various needs.
The activities this year will involve visit to three NGO-run child care homes DON BOSCO, DIVYA DISHA, and AASRITHA and will involve activities such as:

1. Fun with learning activities, e.g., quiz, football, cricket, painting, dance, and poem reciting
2. Lunch
3. Painting
4. Contribution by Deloitte (cloth for stitching school dresses, shoes/slippers, blankets, toys, study material, story books, bedsheets etc.

All the participants are excited and are keenly waiting for the day to come to go and make an IMPACT!!!
